- I am a freelance writer and author and have been writing all my life, mostly in the area of corporate communications but I also dabble in creative writing (both fiction and non-fiction). I'm an avid traveler and often write articles for Suite101. This blog is a great way to write about things outside the bounds of the business writing I do (but I will write about that too and offer some insights and advice on good business writing). I will also periodically do book reviews that focus on travel, expat living, small business resources and social media (these are the areas that all seem to converge in my life). I loved it Anne! Living in Dubai, and having experienced the Shamal myself you have captured it in its essence and with great detail I could almost feel the dust on my face! Congratulations for the prize! Definitely well deserved:)
